PROJECT OVERVIEW

For the release of Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward’s 2nd She and Him christmas album, Christmas Party, R I V A L S collaborated to build not just the perfect Holiday assortment for fans, but creative marketing assets that made the release feel as festive as the music itself.

Built around the Christmas theme, the aesthetic of the assortment, and the revenue plan for a very season line lended to items like cookie cutters, stockings, and laser etched rolling pins. Combined with printable items, the assortment bundled perfectly with the special edition red vinyl, sold exclusively on the Merchline storefront.

The marketing assets were storyboarded to be simple, and yet give off a warm and rustic vibe that accentuated the vinyl and product line in a way that made the Merchline storefront feel like a cabin around Christmas time.
